UKRENERGY project web page<\/a><\/p>\nUKRENERGY PROJECT SUMMARY
\nEstablishment of new Master Courses (MCs) on \u201cEnergy Efficiency, Building Retrofitting and Energy Planning\u201d in Ukrainian Universities (UAUs) and promotion of EU best practices in the terms of educational methodologies and specific knowledge related to the energy efficiency and sustainability of buildings.
\nSPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
\nThree are the specific objectives:
\n1.\u2004Curricular development tailored to labour market requirements and enable to support the employability expectations of graduates by training them with up-to-date methodologies in the field of energy sustainable buildings. The new study programmes will be implemented in the UAUs with different training directions according to the local needs. MCs will start in the 3rd project year with the completion of the 1st academic year. The development process will be completed by updating of didactical laboratories and new teaching aids materials to publish jointly between UA and EU teachers.
\n2.\u2004Links university-enterprises: to develop a networking system among UAUs and stakeholders to remedy to the currently fragmented scientific background in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability and to the lack of distribution of knowledge, expertise, info and data.
\n3. An “EU – Ukraine Green Deal Network\u201d will be officially established, to enhance in tangible and actual terms the leading role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in policies related to Energy Efficient and Sustainable Buildings, keeping into due account both the requirements set by UN 2030 Agenda, with specific reference to SDGs 7, 10, and 11, and the priorities of the EU Green Deal. UKRENERGY will also spread and promote UA awareness related to the EU policies referred to Sustainable and Energy Efficient Buildings and to enhance the approach towards EU best practices. Main beneficiaries of the outputs to be produced will be (about): 120 UA Sr. teaching staff, 60 UA Jr. teachers and assistants, 200 final year students \/ new graduates and students to enrol to the new Master Courses.<\/p>\n

\nThe international consortium UKRENERGY united 12 universities from Ukraine, Italy, Poland and Slovakia to\u00a0transform education in\u00a0the field of\u00a0energy efficiency.
\nDuring the work, the following were discussed:
\n\u2014\u00a0results of\u00a0the project implementation over the past year;
\n\u2014\u00a0updating of\u00a0the educational infrastructure of\u00a0universities with grant funds;
\n\u2014\u00a0development of\u00a0the project for 2025\/26;
\n\u2014\u00a0guest lectures, business games and other joint activities.
\nThree new disciplines are already being taught at\u00a0ONEU, namely \u00abAccounting and Analytical Support of\u00a0Energy Efficiency Projects in\u00a0Sustainable Development Conditions\u00bb, \u00abManagement of\u00a0Energy Efficiency Projects\u00bb, \u00abEnergy Efficiency in\u00a0Entrepreneurship\u00bb. During the 2024\/25 academic year, 54 ONEU masters acquired very important knowledge and skills in\u00a0energy efficiency. We\u00a0thank our partners for their unity and common goal\u00a0\u2014 an\u00a0energy-efficient future of\u00a0Ukraine![\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”59103″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”59104″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_column_text]On\u00a0April 8, 2025, professors and students of\u00a0the ONEU had the honor of\u00a0representing our university at\u00a0the international interdisciplinary conference \u00abStrategy for the Development of\u00a0Agrovoltaics: Status, Challenges, and Implementation Steps in\u00a0Ukraine\u00bb, which brought together leading experts, scientists, business representatives, and the public sector.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udd39 During the conference, key aspects of\u00a0the development of\u00a0agrovoltaics in\u00a0Ukraine were discussed.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udccc Participation in\u00a0the event allowed us\u00a0to\u00a0deepen our knowledge of\u00a0current issues of\u00a0sustainable development, establish professional contacts, and discuss ways of\u00a0cooperation between educational institutions and businesses. The conference also became an\u00a0important step not only in\u00a0the development of\u00a0agrovoltaics in\u00a0Ukraine but also in\u00a0involving students in\u00a0international educational and scientific initiatives, in\u00a0particular, the Erasmus+ UKRENERGY project, which promotes the training of\u00a0specialists in\u00a0the field of\u00a0renewable energy and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
We\u00a0sincerely thank the organizers for the high level of\u00a0preparation for the event and all participants for the meaningful discussions! We\u00a0are convinced that such initiatives are an\u00a0important step towards ensuring sustainable development and forming an\u00a0effective model for implementing agrovoltaics in\u00a0Ukraine.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
The implementation of the UKRENERGY grant project continues.
\nRepresentatives of ONEU, Vice-Rector for Research Oleksandr Litvinov and Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit Olga Boiko took part in a workshop at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy, on March 25-29, 2024, under the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Innovative Master Courses Supporting the Improvement of the Energy and Carbon Footprint of the Ukrainian Building Stock” “UKRENERGY”. The meeting was aimed at participating in training sessions on implementation and holding meetings with the academic community of foreign universities.
\nThe following results were obtained:
\n– Participated in the training meetings organized by the Campania Luigi Vanvitelli University within the framework of the UKRENERGY project.
\n– The administrative organization of the Campania Luigi Vanvitelli University and its Faculty of Engineering, innovative teaching tools in higher education, the role of gamification in higher education, in particular for the energy community, were introduced.
\n– The participants were familiarized with the training courses of the Luigi Vanvitelli Campania University for energy saving and energy efficiency specialists.
\n– Further actions of the Ukrainian participants of the UKRENERGY project to implement master’s programs and courses were discussed.
\nA meeting with Prof. Rosa Vinciguerra, Erasmus Program Coordinator of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Campania, and the leadership of the Erasmus Office of the University of Campania was held. An agreement was reached to conclude a cooperation agreement on the academic mobility program and other areas of cooperation with the Faculties of Economics and Psychology.<\/div>\n
\n
– The possibility of cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Naples “Parthenope” (University of Naples “Parthenope”), in particular, on academic mobility of teachers and students, was discussed with Prof. Vincenzo Bianko.<\/p>\n
Based on the results of the study tour, it is planned to<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
– develop cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and the University of Naples “Parthenope”, in particular, on the academic mobility of teachers and students.<\/div>\n
familiarize ONEU students with the opportunities for academic mobility.<\/div>\n
– organize the purchase of software within the framework of the UKRENERGY project for use in the educational process at ONEU.<\/div>\n
– implement the obtained learning outcomes in the educational process within the framework of the UKRENERGY project, to propose the introduction of three disciplines in the bank of elective master’s courses from 2024\/2025 academic year:<\/div>\n

Teachers Grinchenko Raisa and Boyko Olha presented the university and the department where new disciplines will be introduced within the project.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]On June 26-30, 2023, a meeting of the UKRENERGY project participants was held at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
