The history of the establishment of the faculty<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Faculty of International Economics was founded in 1968 under the name “Faculty of Labor Economics”. After Ukraine gained independence in 1991, the faculty received a new name – “Economics of Labor and Material Resources”. When in 1993 the Odessa Institute of Credit and Economics was reorganized into the Odessa State University of Economics, the faculty received its current name: “International Economics”.
\nThe faculty of international economics is one of the most popular in the modern structure of the university, and provides the country with specialists in developed, profitable and the most interesting spheres of economic activity.<\/p>\n

As of today, the faculty trains specialists in the following educational programs:<\/p>\n

\n\u2013 International Economic Relations

After completing studies at the Faculty of International Economics, according to the chosen specialty, its graduates are employed in popular and modern positions, including:<\/p>\n

\u2022 marketers of various directions
\n\u2022 PR managers and SMM specialists
\n\u2022 logistics specialists
\n\u2022 managers and employees of companies operating in the field of export and import, and working with foreign investments
\n\u2022 experts on international issues
\n\u2022 tourism specialists (managers, managers, travel agents)
\n\u2022 employees of the hotel and restaurant business (managers, inspectors, event organizers, managers)<\/p>\n

Practical education<\/strong><\/p>\n

Studying at the Faculty of International Economics, students have the opportunity to gain effective work experience during internships. FME students undergo internships in logistics and marketing companies, institutions of the financial and banking spheres, at the most famous enterprises of Odesa in the field of hotel and restaurant business.<\/p>\n
