Establishment of new Master Courses (MCs) on “Energy Efficiency, Building Retrofitting and Energy Planning” in Ukrainian Universities (UAUs) and promotion of EU best practices in the terms of educational methodologies and specific knowledge related to the energy efficiency and sustainability of buildings.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Three are the specific objectives:
1. Curricular development tailored to labour market requirements and enable to support the employability expectations of graduates by training them with up-to-date methodologies in the field of energy sustainable buildings. The new study programmes will be implemented in the UAUs with different training directions according to the local needs. MCs will start in the 3rd project year with the completion of the 1st academic year. The development process will be completed by updating of didactical laboratories and new teaching aids materials to publish jointly between UA and EU teachers.
2. Links university-enterprises: to develop a networking system among UAUs and stakeholders to remedy to the currently fragmented scientific background in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability and to the lack of distribution of knowledge, expertise, info and data.
3. An “EU – Ukraine Green Deal Network” will be officially established, to enhance in tangible and actual terms the leading role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in policies related to Energy Efficient and Sustainable Buildings, keeping into due account both the requirements set by UN 2030 Agenda, with specific reference to SDGs 7, 10, and 11, and the priorities of the EU Green Deal. UKRENERGY will also spread and promote UA awareness related to the EU policies referred to Sustainable and Energy Efficient Buildings and to enhance the approach towards EU best practices. Main beneficiaries of the outputs to be produced will be (about): 120 UA Sr. teaching staff, 60 UA Jr. teachers and assistants, 200 final year students / new graduates and students to enrol to the new Master Courses.

- Було взято участь у навчальних зустрічах, організованих Університетом Кампанії Луїджі Ванвітеллі в межах проєкт «UKRENERGY».
- Ознайомлено з адміністративною організацією Університету Кампанії Луїджі Ванвітеллі та його інженерного факультету, інноваційні засоби навчання у вищій освіті, визначено роль гейміфікації у вищій освіті, зокрема для енергетичної спільноти.
- Ознайомлено із навчальними курсами університету Кампанії Луїджі Ванвітеллі для фахівців з енергоощадження та енергоефективності. Обговорено подальші дії українських учасників проєкт «UKRENERGY» по впровадженню магістерських програм та курсів.
- Проведено зустріч з координатором програм Erasmus факультету економіки Університету Кампанії Луїджі Ванвітеллі, проф. Rosa Vinciguerra та керівництвом Erasmus-офісу Університету Кампанії Луїджі Ванвітеллі. Досягнуто домовленості про укладання договору про співпрацю за програмою академічної мобільності та іншим напрямам співпраці з факультетами економіки та психології.
- Обговорено із проф. Vincenzo Bianko можливість співпраці з факультетом економіки Неаполітанського університету «Партенопе» (University of Naples “Parthenope”), зокрема щодо академічної мобільності викладачів та студентів.
- Енергоефективність у підприємництві;
- Управління енергоефективними проєктами;
- Обліково-аналітичне забезпечення проєктів енергоефективності в умовах сталого розвитку.
On April 17-21, 2023, a kick-off meeting for the project was held in the city of Genoa (Italy). Teachers Grinchenko Raisa and Boyko Olha presented the university and the department where new disciplines will be introduced within the project.
On June 26-30, 2023, a meeting of the UKRENERGY project participants was held at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The institutional needs of Ukrainian universities for the implementation of new master’s courses were shared with European partners. Colleagues from Slovakia shared their experience in teaching disciplines aimed at energy saving.
On October 16, 18 and 20, 2023, online seminars with partners were held to support the preparation of the Program Handbook for the new Master Courses and the development of educational modules.
On December 20, 2023, ONEU hosted a workshop on “Challenges and opportunities for cost savings through the use of alternative energy sources in small and medium-sized heat generation of territorial communities of Odesa region”.
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to learn about the available types of alternative energy sources with their comprehensive comparative characteristics, conditions and requirements for the use of certain types of alternative energy sources and sources of investment.
