В ОНЕУ відбувся круглий стіл «Нові вимоги до формування стратегій розвитку територіальних громад». 🎉

Захід об’єднав широку аудиторію — представників громад Одеської області, експертів, науковців і практиків у сфері регіонального розвитку.

📍Подія була організована у співпраці з партнером ОНЕУ — Агенцією регіонального розвитку Одеської області @rda.od.reg

✅ Мета зустрічі — обговорити сучасні виклики стратегічного планування в умовах трансформації державної політики та інтеграції європейських підходів.

Захід відкрив ректор ОНЕУ, доктор економічних наук, професор Анатолій Іванович Ковальов, наголосивши на важливості наукового підґрунтя у процесах територіального розвитку.

Серед ключових спікерів:
🔹 Олена Іванова — керівник офісу роботи з територіальними громадами Агенції регіонального розвитку Одеської області;
🔹 Олег Бабій — керівник Центру наукових досліджень та консалтингу ОНЕУ;

Громадська організація «Десяте Квітня» оголошує конкурс шортс-відео «Upgrade: Скидай стереотипи!», де здобувачі освіти зможуть проявити свою креативність і висловити власне бачення рівності! 🎉

Конкурс проходить у рамках всесвітньої акції «16 днів проти насильства», яка щорічно відбувається в різних країнах з 25 листопада до 10 грудня.

✔️ Проєкт реалізується за підтримки Агентства ООН у справах біженців в Україні.

ONEU joined the SAP University Alliances program

ONEU has recently become a part of the SAP University Alliances program. SAP, the global leader in ERP software for companies of all sizes and industries, offers students the opportunity to enhance their academic performance, collaborate on research projects, and access SAP software, learning materials, and related support.
In Ukraine, there are only 10 partner universities affiliated with SAP, and only 5 of them have received free access to all educational opportunities, including ONEU. This development allows for the incorporation of SAP S/4HANA training into the curriculum of all specialties in the block of optional disciplines starting next year. Consequently, many departments of the university will be actively involved in the learning process.

The «Ukraine Digital» project team visited the DAAD conference «Education in Times of War»

The meeting was attended by DAAD President Joybrato Mukherjee and Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Oleksii Makeiev

The «Ukraine Digital» project team visited the DAAD conference «Education in Times of War – German-Ukrainian University Cooperation between Emergency Aid and Shaping the Future» dedicated to Ukraine, which took place on 27 and 28 September 2023 in Berlin. Participants included project coordinator from Hochschule Mittweida Darina Karpiuk, her assistant Daria Litvinova, and representatives of partner universities: Professor of the O. Honchar Dnipro National University, Honorary Professor of Hochschule Mittweida Oleksiy Dzhusov and Professor of the Odessa National Economic University, Vice-rector for scientific work Oleksandr Litvinov.

At the meeting, representatives of the DAAD, including the organisation’s president, Joybrato Mukherjee, and German-Ukrainian higher education institutions analysed the work that had been done and shared their future plans. More than 150 participants discussed new ideas for rebuilding the country and renewing Ukrainian scientific and educational institutions. Among the guests was Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany Oleksii Makeiev.

At the conference «Education in Times of War», which was also attended by members of the Bundestag, representatives of the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the DAAD presented ideas for new funding programmes. The aim is to provide sustainable support for the Ukrainian higher education system.

The project «Ukraine Digital» has been operating on the basis of Hochschule Mittweida with the support of DAAD since September 2022. In accordance with the programme’s goal, 17 German scientific materials adapted and translated into Ukrainian language were provided to Ukrainian universities. Also, 98 best students of partner universities received scholarships from DAAD.

In addition to all of the above, the «Ukraine Digital» project creates strong ties that form the basis for future German-Ukrainian co-operation between universities.[/vc_column_text]

ONEU’s participation in the “UKRENERGY” project within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ KA2 program!

Odesa National Economic University, within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ KA2 program, in cooperation with Ukrainian and European universities and the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, is participating in the UKRENERGY project, which aims to promote excellence in teaching and learning by implementing a master’s course on energy efficiency in buildings.

The main project coordinator is Universita Degli Studi Di Genova.

The Universita Degli Studi Di Genova and Universita Degli Studi Della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (Italy), as well as the Akademia Gorniczo-Hutnicza Im. Stanislawa Staszica W Krakowie (Poland) and the Slovenska Technicka Univerzita V Bratislave (Slovakia) will implement European practices, knowledge and technologies in Ukraine.

In order to learn the European experience of teaching disciplines, training sessions will be held for teachers at European partner universities.

Ukrainian students will have a unique chance to acquire knowledge and qualifications based on the EU’s modern experience, best practices and technological base. As a result, the Ukrainian market is expected to be filled with highly qualified specialists who will apply effective solutions in response to the challenges of energy security and sustainable development.

The project grant agreement was approved by the European Commission. The project was launched in April 2023 in Genoa (Italy). At the kick-off meeting, the European and Ukrainian partners agreed on the tasks, stages of their implementation, and responsibilities of all involved partners.

Results of the selection for receiving scholarship support by Mittweida University for ONEU students’ scientific research

The results of the selection for receiving scholarship support for scientific research by ONEU students have been summarized! According to the grant received by Mittweida University together with ONEU from the DAAD foundation, seven students were selected to receive a scholarship in the amount of 1200 EU per semester. The selection process consisted of two stages:

Firstly, the 15 best students of the university were selected according to a comprehensive assessment: 80% of which is the success of studies in the last two semesters, 10% is social and scientific activity, and another 10% is social status. These 15 students prepared a scientific essay, which was evaluated by a committee of seven teachers from different departments of ONEU. As a result, 7 best works were selected;

Secondly, the participants of the selection were tested on the level of knowledge of the English language. As a result, scholarship holders will have to write a scientific article and translate it into English during the semester under the guidance of scientific mentors. In these two languages, the articles will be included in the scientific collection of works and will be published in Germany!

Last year, the program provided for the payment of 35 scholarships in the form of 800 EU.

This program will also be in the next academic year, namely the selection of the 7 best students. So we wish everyone the best of luck in demonstrating their educational achievements![/vc_column_text]
